Technologies at Our Dental Clinic
At EJC Dentistry, the technology we have available to us helps us identify dental issues that may be causing you pain or could affect your oral health.
By using this technology, we are able to formulate treatment plans to take action against issues that may have developed, correct any damage that has been sustained, and prevent oral health issues from getting worse.
We are also able to utilize our available technology to show you what we are looking at inside your mouth. It also allows us to walk you through your treatment plan, keeping you informed and involved every step of the way.
Digital X-Rays
Digital X-rays use digital sensors instead of traditional X-ray film to produce highly detailed computer images of the teeth, gums, and other oral structures, allowing your dentist to examine parts of the mouth that are not visible to the naked eye.
Intraoral Scanners
Using an optical scanning wand, your dentist is able to take a digital image of the inside of your mouth to create a digital model. This device allows your dentist to capture accurate data to create digital replicas of the hard and soft tissues of your mouth.
HealOzone™
The HealOzone machine uses Ozone gas (O3) to reverse the tooth decay process. A suction-type cap is placed over the tooth to be treated, and then gas is released over the tooth to seal it. With this, there is less chance you will need to drill into the tooth in order to fix it.
DIAGNOdent™
The DIAGNOdent is essentially a laser cavity detector. Our dentists use the DIAGNOdent to inspect all surfaces of your teeth. This piece of technology gives a numerical value to any level of decay it detects. This allows your dentist to see if a decay is starting so they can determine treatment options.
Second Opinion Dental AI
Second Opinion is the first real-time dental AI platform that automatically detects numerous issues on dental X-rays. Dentists using Second Opinion gain a second set of eyes to help ensure that they've considered many common conditions that appear in their patients' radiographs including hard-to-spot issues like demineralization of the tooth enamel.
Woodpecker Biofilm System
The Woodpecker system combines air polishing and scaling into one smart system to remove biofilm, stains and early calculus from your teeth. Air polishing uses compressed air to spray powder and water on the tooth surface to remove surface adhesives such as plaque. It is comfortable for the patient, powerful, and does not scratch the tooth surface.
