Meet Dr. E. Jan Chithalen

Dr. Chithalen grew up in the Hamilton area attending Ancaster High School. After graduating with honours in 1987, Dr. Chithalen attended McMaster University in Hamilton, and in 1990 received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology (Summa Cum Laude).
From there he went to Toronto to study in the field of Dentistry and is a 1994 graduate of University of Toronto, with the Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. After graduation from U of T, Dr. Chithalen spent one year at the Hamilton General Hospital as a Dental Resident and in 1995 began working as an associate with his father, Dr. J.F. Chithalen at 118 Stinson St. After his father's retirement in 1997, Dr. E.J. Chithalen took over the full time operation of the clinic on Stinson St., and now offers appointments five days a week.
Dr. Chithalen is passionate about dentistry. He is a member of The Royal College Dental Surgeons, The Ontario Dental Association, The Canadian Dental Association, The Hamilton Dental Academy and the Academy of Sports Dentistry (where he currently sits as a Board Member and Canadian Liaison).
Dr. Chithalen has received his fellowship in neuromuscular dental care. He can't wait to help his patients achieve relief from painful TMJ disorder symptoms.
